I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a retired military veteran turned passionate travel blogger, and after years of serving my country, I felt a calling to keep moving — this time, not for duty, but for discovery.
Over the course of my military career, I had the incredible opportunity to visit more than 40 countries, each one offering a piece of the world’s rich tapestry and a deeper understanding of humanity. But what truly lit the fire in me was not just the landscapes or landmarks — it was the people, the cultures, the meals shared, and the moments of connection that made me want to grab my brown journal and keep exploring.
Today, my journey continues — not in uniform, but with purpose.
Here, you’ll find content that dives deep into the soul of a place through its local food, coffee culture, sports, and fitness communities. I believe these are more than just experiences — they’re windows into how people live, love, and express themselves around the world.
As a Black American traveler, I carry my identity with pride and walk boldly into new spaces — not just for myself, but for others who need to see themselves represented out there. I’m here to advocate for confidence, cultural exchange, and global representation, encouraging fellow Black Americans to explore with purpose, knowing they belong anywhere their passport can take them.
At the heart of it all, I give all the glory to Jesus. My travels are an extension of my faith — a way to share a message of hope, love, gratitude, and purpose wherever I go. Through every story, I aim to show that travel isn’t just about seeing the world — it’s about being transformed by it.
This space is for the curious, the courageous, and the compassionate. It’s for those who want to go beyond the surface, who travel not just to escape, but to connect. It’s for those who believe, like I do, that the world is full of beauty, diversity, and divine purpose.
So grab your journal. Open your heart. And let’s journey together — one authentic story, one powerful connection, one step closer to understanding each other.
